Description

Sodium Molybdate Dihydrate, also known as Molybdic Acid Disodium Salt, or simply SMX, is a very fine, white, free flowing technical grade granule represented by the formula: Na₂MoO₄·2H₂O. It is used as a corrosion inhibitor for open and closed cooling water systems, engine coolants, metalworking fluids, metal finishing, and oil drilling mud’s. It is also used as a micronutrient in agriculture.
